New Buildings

Simple addition of a new dwelling, large corner plots on end terraces allow for new dwellings by simply continuing the local vernacular. This is an efficient method of creating much needed affordable housing.

Bespoke house types are a favourite of clients, who say they enjoy living in their own "architect designed" dwelling.

Awkward or back garden sites can be overcome, ArchiSmart Design has a proven track record in securing approval for and designing detached dwellings in existing garden space (subject to plot size and Local Authority approval). Approval can often be achieved on sites that have previously been refused permission to build through careful design and working closely with both the client and Local Authority.

Examples of all the types of developments shown here can be found in Wrenthorpe, Flanshaw, Alverthorpe, Sandal, Ossett and Leeds.

Extensions to front of modern properties to accommodate bedrooms and garages can alter the overall building aesthetic for the better.

Bespoke extension to side of contemporary property.

This dwelling was given a complete overhaul including extensions, rendering and new roof to create a finished product.
